So basically, I suck at xanga.  Don't even know why I still try...

School started and it's going alright.  Things have been busy since I've been back here.  But I'm glad to be back and glad to get to see all my super cool friends!  Today we are going to the basketball game and then to see Glory Road.  What can I say, it's gonna be a basketball day.  Haha that rhymed!  So obviously I'm in a weird mood and so yeah.....

So I'm back at UMHB!!!  I'm so happy to be back but not so happy about starting classes on Wednesday.  I'm kinda nervous about classes I guess.  Oh well, I'm sure it will turn out alright. 

I haven't updated in a while so let me just briefly share what's been going on.  We had Christmas, went to Austin with the fam, Colleen came, work, played cards with friends, New Year's Eve, work, played cards with friends, work, went shopping, saw Nick & Jada and the girls, work, back to school!  So yeah that's a real brief version.

It's Christmas!!!  This is a fun time of year.  Work has been super busy and we've been wrapping lots of presents.  That means that lots of people will receive presents.  That makes me happy.  Especially when people with lots of money come in and buy things for lots of people.  It makes me happy to know that all their money isn't going toward themselves.  Christmas is the season of giving.  But every season should be for giving - it's just fun.

My family and I are travelling to Austin for the next 3 days to go shopping, watch movies, eat food, and hang out as a fam.  It should be pretty fun.  We didn't get to go last year cuz of my mom's surgery.  So, I'm looking forward to it.

And when we get back......Colleen comes!!  Hooray!  I'll be excited to get to talk to her cuz I've basically missed her a lot and can't wait to hang out with her and actually get to talk in person.  It will be a beautiful thing, I guarantee it.

Then it's a little down time till New Year's Eve.  Who knows what's going on with that still.  I'm thinking something at my house....any takers?  Just gotta get the details figured out. 

Well I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas and New Year cuz who knows when I'll update again.....it's a miracle it's been twice in one week.  ok, bye!

Well I got my hair cut....`tis true, `tis true.  I decided to finally post it for the world to see since my family got to see it.  I was trying to keep it a secret from them.  So there it is now as my profile picture.  I don't know exactly how to post pics on xanga so that's the best I could do.  And don't worry about trying to tell me how to do it cuz more than likely, I won't do it.  Haha...I'm not even good at posting, so why would I be better just cuz I know how to do pictures?  Yeah, I don't know either.

All I know is that Thanksgiving is coming up and I'm going home to hopefully get to spend some time with people that I haven't seen in a while - friends and family.  And I'll get some good food, hopefully!  And I'll get to ride home with my best friend and I like riding in the car with her on long trips.  Even after getting lost and having a slightly awkward trip this past Thursday, I still like it.

Speaking of this past Thursday, Sarah and I went to a Jeremy Camp, Bethany Dillon, The Afters concert in Austin.  Like I said, we did a lot of turn-arounds and it was adventurous to say the least.  I had this plan to "re-discover Austin" but it didn't work out that way.  We ended up driving around a lot and eating and McDonald's and going to the concert.  Once we got to the concert, both of us were pretty tired so we just sat there and chillaxed the whole time.  It was pretty nice to just sit there with my best friend and relax and hear good music too.  I think that we like to do things like that cuz we can just be ourselves and don't have to worry about awkward conversations or trying to put on some sort of a show for people or anything like that.  It's just really nice and comfortable.  I don't exactly know about her, but I like it.

Got two projects this week and a wedding to attend on Friday.  Other than that, not a whole lot going on.  I've been coughing a lot lately and have managed to lose my voice.  If anyone finds it, please let me know.  Haha...that was so corny.  On that note, I'm out.
